I’ve spent years dreaming in isolation, but I know I'm not the only one traversing the dreamscape feeling alone. It’s not much, but I offer these pages like a hand to hold through dark times.

Will you write with me, a journal of your own? That way the story doesn’t have to end, it can continue with yours.

This is a collection of entries from my real lucid dream journal. It is meant to be interactive, and you write in your own journal along with me.

The past me will tell you a story, one of my dreams, and the present me will ask you a question from time to time.

Progress is saved in the local storage of a web browser. Clearing sessions and cookies in a browser will also clear your progress.

Exporting your save is encouraged to ensure your journal is not lost.

The long hallway

It is hard to pin point when I “started” working on this project, but a rough estimate is at least over a decade ago.

When I say I’ve poured my heart and soul into this project, I absolutely mean it. From digitizing scribbled dreams on decades old scraps of paper, to hand painting backgrounds and documentary style photography, I’ve given this project my all.

I’ve even spent a few years learning coding just for this! Though admittedly I am still an amateur coder, and if you encounter an error please comment and I will do my absolute best to figure out what semicolon I missed where.

I am absolutely aware this interactive journal is not going to be for everyone, but I don’t think that would stop me from finishing it either way. Just to have this complete has been such a monumental goal of mine, that publishing it is enough.

But if you are up for it, I hope my story will give more than it takes. So what do you say, will you share a dream with me?
